Engagements · Pricing · How we work
Three shapes of work, priced from the start.
Vague pricing wastes everyone's time. These are the engagements I run, what each costs from, and how contracts, invoices and NDAs work. Every one starts with a short call that is free.
Engagement shapes
Discovery sprint
fromUSD 1,500fixed
You have a process that costs time and want to know, with evidence, whether AI should run it.
- (01)A map of the process, its data and its tools
- (02)A clickable prototype of the agent or workflow
- (03)Risks, guardrails and a build estimate
- (04)A decision: product, custom build, or neither
Production build
fromUSD 6,000/ project
The discovery said yes. Now it has to run every day, safely, with people in the loop where it matters.
- (01)Agent, workflow or assistant on your data and tools
- (02)Evaluation set, guardrails and monitoring
- (03)Weekly increments you can click
- (04)Handover with documentation; you own the code
Operate and improve
fromUSD 900/ month
You would rather I keep it running, watch the traces, and ship improvements than hire for it.
- (01)Monitoring, incident response and model updates
- (02)Monthly review of traces and failed runs
- (03)A fixed block of improvement hours
- (04)Same-day replies on business days
Builds are built from a week rate of USD 1,800. Builds are quoted as a project, but this is the figure they are built from. If Flows or Agent Studio covers the job, I will say so on the call; both are free to start.
How an engagement runs
Talk, discover, build, run.
Talk
A WhatsApp, email or video call about the job you want done.
Discover
A short, fixed-scope discovery: your data, your tools, the risks, and a prototype you can click.
Build
Production build with evaluation, guardrails and monitoring, delivered in weekly increments you can see.
Run
Handover with documentation, or I keep operating it for you.
Working together
The boring parts, answered up front.
Contracts
A short statement of work for sprints and builds: scope, timeline, price, what you own. For ongoing work, a monthly agreement you can cancel with 30 days' notice. Governed by the laws of Sri Lanka unless your legal team needs otherwise.
NDA
Happy to sign your NDA before discovery starts, or to send a mutual one if you prefer. Nothing about your business appears on this site without written permission.
Invoicing
Invoices in US dollars. Sprints are paid up front; builds are split into milestones, typically a deposit then weekly or fortnightly; operate plans are monthly in advance. Invoices carry everything your accounts team needs.
Paying from abroad
Clients are in the US, UK, Europe and Asia-Pacific. International bank transfer is standard; card payment by secure link is available if that is easier for your finance process. The two products bill through Polar as merchant of record, which handles taxes and receipts.
Your data
Secrets live in your environment, encrypted at rest. Nothing of yours is used to train models. Builds use the same providers as my products, Vercel, Neon Postgres, Groq and Anthropic, or whatever your stack requires, under their own privacy terms.
Ownership and exit
You own the code, the prompts, the evaluation sets and the data. Handover includes documentation and a recorded walkthrough, and nothing is tied to my accounts.
The same operator runs Flows and Agent Studio; their published terms and privacy policies show how I handle billing and data at product scale. This site's own policy is at /privacy.
Next step
Twenty minutes, no pitch.
Tell me the process and the tools. I will say which shape fits, or that a product already covers it, and send a slot within a business day.
Engagement questions
Before you book.
01Do you work with businesses outside Sri Lanka?
Yes. Most clients are in the US, UK, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Work is remote-first from Colombo with overlap for those time zones, invoices are in US dollars, and payment works by international bank transfer or card.
02What does a discovery sprint cost?
A discovery sprint is a fixed USD 1,500 for one week, and ends with a prototype you can click and a clear recommendation, including the honest answer that an off-the-shelf product covers your case.
03How long does a production build take?
Three to eight weeks for most agents, workflows and assistants, delivered in weekly increments. The discovery sprint sets the estimate, and the build is quoted as a project rather than by the hour.
04Will you sign an NDA?
Yes, before discovery if you like. Your NDA or a mutual one from me, whichever is faster for you.
05Who owns what you build?
You do. Code, prompts, evaluation sets and data are yours, with documentation and a handover walkthrough. You can take it in-house or keep me on an operate plan.
